What a crazy trip to go to Barcelona, but I´m glad we did it because we are HERE!!! :D
We left Valladolid around midnight Friday night (Saturday morning) and took the 3 hour bus ride to the airport so we could wait 3.5 hours for our flight. We got on our flight at 7am and got to Barcelona just after 8am. Then our journey through the city began. It took us one bus ride, one train ride, two metros, an 30 mins of wandering the streets to get us to this hotel! All with barely a nap here and there on the stone cold airport floor and on random benches. Everything thing here is NOT in Spanish but in Catalán...so it is extremely hard to read everything here. I´m really impressed we made it through that maze of a city with hardly one hiccup.
We took a nap in our hotel to catch up on some sleep and now it´s time to explore the city! Gotta get used to using this Metro system!! :) Apparently the beach is about 3 miles away and downtown is less than 2, so I think we picked a good location for the hotel! Yay!
