Oceanario em Lisboa

During our last day in Portugal, we decided to visit the aquarium since it seemed pretty famous. Apparently it is the biggest aquarium in all of Europe.

So after our usual hostel breakfast (the same exact thing for the third time in a row...) we took the trolley/bus adventure over to the aquarium!

There were two exhibits we could see: the main exhibit with all the usual fish and other animals in the main aquarium, and the temporary exhibit which was turtles.

My camera was kind of failing for most of the pictures in the aquarium, so I ended up switching over to iPhone, which actually showed my camera up by far!

One of the coolest/biggest fish in there. The aquarium keepers actually hand fed him, so he must be special :)

HUGE tank! Over two stories tall

Moving onto the Turtle Exhibit:
This was even cooler than the permanent exhibit. The had clear tunnel ways you could see a 360 degree view of everything, clear flooring so you could see the turtles swim below you, and little rooms with clear ceilings and reclined chairs so you could lay back and be face-to-face with a turtle!
